Paraguay Residency

We will assist you in the process of obtaining Paraguay residency. You will need to stay in the country for 2-3 days upon arrival, and we will pick you up at your hotel on the day you choose to start your residency process. It will take 2-3 hours for us to process all your documents in Paraguay with you physically present. We will handle the rest of the application process without needing your physical presence. 

In the residency process, we include all documentation:
Translation from English, Portuguese or Italian to Spanish (additional languages may be an additional fee, please inquire below) 
Two-year renewable residency
National ID card (Cedula) express service (global DHL mailing fee upon delivery)
Authenticated passport copy 
Legalized interpol certificate
Authenticated stamp of entry into Paraguay  
Pre-approval of all documents prior to arrival
No expiration of internal documents (guaranteed to get your residency and cedula in the allotted timeframe)
Transfer to each office and hotel pickup
Power of attorney 
Direct assistance for any questions throughout the process

Pricing for temporary residency
Temporary residency and Cedula for two years: $2400 USD per person
Once you obtain temporary residency, we can apply for the tax ID for $200 USD per person


A 50% deposit of total services is required to get the process underway. Once the deposit is received, we will verify your documents via email to ensure they are correct before your arrival in Paraguay. The remaining 50% of the fee is due before we start the cedula process. 


Bank transfer details to receive the deposit for residency can be requested or will be included in the email thread. We accept bank transfers and credit card, however a 5% fee (card provider fee, not our fee) is added to any credit card payments.

Residency Process
Please send us photos of the documents before and after they are apostilled so we can ensure they are correct before you arrive in Paraguay
Upon your first trip to Paraguay, we will take your documentation and process the residency. 
Once the residency is processed, you will return to Paraguay to process the cedula. For this process, you will need to use your criminal background check, and if older than 6 months, you will need to obtain a new background check with an apostille
Once the cedula is processed, we will mail it to you anywhere in the world (DHL fees not included as pricing varies based on location)
With the cedula, we can then remotely process your application for your tax residency
Please note once you hold the cedula, you will need to enter Paraguay in the future with both your cedula and passport
